Welcome to the team Cara Lloyd

Agricultural and Farming Jobs are very happy to welcome the newest member of the team, Cara Lloyd. Cara is our new Office and Customer Experience Manager. I had the pleasure of interviewing and getting to know Cara this week!

Tell us a little about yourself?

I grew up in France until I was 13, meaning I can speak fluent French! I recently moved back to Bromsgrove with my fiancé where we have moved into a new house, which currently we are in the processing of doing up. I am spending a lot of time in garden centres as we have a beautiful garden which needs some TLC. I am a complete animal lover and love nothing more than taking my dog Cooper on long walks in the countryside.

If you were to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

I would describe myself as Positive, Giving and Open.

Where did your career start and how did it evolve to where you are now?

I have many years of recruitment experience. I started as a business administration apprentice in recruitment for a technical engineering company. From there, things just naturally progressed into the training world. I became a training coordinator and was talking to customers and clients every day, helping to build rapport with them and earning their trust. I helped to build the training department in my last company from the ground up.

What do you enjoy most about working in the recruitment sector?

I find helping people achieve their goals and aspirations really rewarding, and I feel lucky to be a part of each person’s journey. I enjoy how fast-paced the work can be, even though sometimes I wish it wasn't! I also just enjoy working with other people and I like to think I get a boost from their energy!

What made you apply for the position as Office and Customer Experience Manager?

I've been wanting to get back into recruitment, as it’s a massive part of my life and I have so much experience I'd love to share with everyone! This position at AgriFJ seemed like the perfect fit; it's recruitment and is in an industry which I'm passionate about!

How have you found your first week?

It was really good! I’ve had some excellent training sessions with Jodie and overall, the team and the job has exceeded my expectations; everyone is lovely! The time flew by.
