Job Title: Agricultural Financial Services – Product Analyst - Home Based Role

The Company:

Our client is a specialist Financial Services company for the Agricultural and Farming industry.
This specialist business and team spend all day every day working with farms and key suppliers to lend to the niche sector of Agriculture. Due to an expanding business, they are seeking to recruit a Product Analyst.

The Industry: Agricultural Banking, Agricultural Finance, Agricultural Financial Services, Agricultural Financial Services.

The Job Role Details:

As a Product Analyst you will analyse product data and the wider market dynamic in which these products sit to make product recommendations, ranging from pricing to product enhancements to support the bank. A great opportunity to develop a position as an expert on the performance of financial products within the banking sector, both in the mass market and in very specific sector niches. The role would suit a Economics Graduate or Finance professional with agricultural knowledge or exposure. Seeking a keen individual, able to use their quantitative skills to maximise the performance of a new and dynamic data-driven customer-centric company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To evaluate the performance of the Bank’s products and compare them against the wider market and suggest actionable insights for improvement, including competitor analysis.

  • Work with the wider Product Team to provide target market analysis to make the business case to support new product development and existing product enhancement.

  • Work with the Data Analysis Team to analyse management information to continually improve the bank’s products.

  • Work with other departments including marketing and finance to establish the cost of operations of products offered by the bank.

  • Assist the company in achieving short and long-term goals relating to product growth.

  • Work with other departments to improve the analysis and presentation of product performance.

  • Support the wider product development and project initiatives in the bank with quantitative analysis including modelling of uncertain markets and innovative asset classes.

 

Minimum skills/experience

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level with quantitative analytical skills, preferably with a finance or economics background.

  • At least 3 years financial services or similar experience.

  • Self-starter, with attention to detail, able to manage a varied and heavy workload in a fast-growing environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to present data in a compelling way to support product improvements.

  • Excellent IT skills.

 

Desirable:

  • Master’s level or higher quantitative skills.

  • Knowledge of Agricultural Sector in the UK.

  • Knowledge of Natural Capital modelling.

  • Actively suggests innovation and takes initiative.

 

Salary package:

£ Negotiable - Experience Dependant
