Agricultural Parts Person / Parts Advisor / Parts Assistant
Location of the Job: Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire, Dorset, South West of England.
The Company: Is a supplier of heavy agricultural and farming machinery and equipment.
The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Agricultural Equipment, Farm Machinery, Farm Equipment, Tractors, Combines, Harvesters.
The Job Role Details:
Due to the success and expansion of our client who are a dynamic and progressive agricultural machinery businesses - we are looking for a motivated Agricultural Person to join the Parts Team.
You will understand the importance of being a trusted advisor to customers and always provide the highest level of parts support with a sales minded approach by upselling services and products while maintaining existing customer relations.
You will supply parts from all of the company's main brands, to agricultural, farming and construction customers - and proactively seek new aftersales business to deliver increased parts coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Based within the parts department, this role includes the following key priorities:
Serving parts to customers over the counter.
Providing parts assistance to the service department.
Dealing with incoming telephone enquiries to the parts department.
Using online parts catalogues to look up and identify parts for customer enquiries.
Raising invoices and booking in stock.
Advising customers when their stock has been received and is ready for collection.
Picking and packing stock and dealing with receipts of items for customers and for stock.
Able to deliver high levels of customer service.
Order stock as required for customers or to replenish existing stock.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
Knowledge of the Agricultural Industry and machinery used within the sector.
Highly motivated with team spirit qualities and target driven.
Prioritising, time management, planning and organisational skills.
Good communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills.
Competent PC skills and administrative ability.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent, full-time position.
You will report directly to the Depot Supervisor.
There are currently no Line Management duties but there will be opportunities to develop into a more managerial role.
Salary Package: A yearly on target earnings of around £20,000 - £30,000 per year depending on experience.
Plus Benefits: Overtime rates of pay, company pension scheme, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
