Europe Tillage Data Collection - France, The Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark

Initial round of tillage data collection in France, The Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark.
Hummingbird Technologies is seeking data collection contractors across Europe to help with on-farm data collection as part of ongoing sustainability projects tracking regenerative agricultural practices in agrifood supply chains.
Responsibilities:
● Travelling to designated areas of interest and collecting tillage type data
● Following a simple protocol to document the tillage type performed per field
● The tillage information will be logged on an app per field
Requirements:
● Travel may be required to farms in your assigned region, which will be determined based on your geographic location
● An iPhone or Android phone to run our data collection app
● A valid driver’s license
● Your own car to travel to the assigned location
● Experience working in agriculture to a level where you can reliably and confidently identify the type of tillage performed
Timeline:
● This work will take place from November to December 2021
● The work is flexible to your schedule as you choose the number of hours and when you work but a minimum of 8 hours per week availability is preferred
● Mid-November will be the busiest month for this project when would expect 2-5 days per week should be available if you have the availability
Salary:
● Employment is contract based
● Payment will be made per data point collected
● The average payment for a full day of data collection is €240
● Mileage is covered at the government set rate for the respective country
