What the job involves:

This role has come about due to an internal promotion. So, if you are passionate about managing engaging event programmes as well as promoting the association's membership, then this role as Events Programme and Membership Manager could be perfect for you.

You will be working as part of a small, energetic and driven team. You must have a go-getting attitude, be a good networker, strive for the best in everything you do and thrive on seeing your hard work come to fruition through successful events and feedback from members.

Knowledge of the dairy industry and organising event programmes isn’t essential, but some knowledge of UK agriculture would be preferred.

Events Programme and Membership Manager

Reporting to: Managing Director

Overall Responsibility: See below

Length of contract: Full time

Specific Responsibilities

1.Manage the programme and speakers for the national Dairy Tech event

2.Represent the RABDF at external events

3.Oversee the Entrepreneurs in Dairying course, in association with our partners

4.Be the go-to person for RABDF Membership

5.Oversee the annual membership renewal process

6.Organise and send out the RABDF monthly membership E-newsletter - Milk Digest

7.Work with the land-based colleges with the aim of signing them up as members (this may be a new strain of membership), RABDF to promote their courses and knowledge

8.Lead on the following RABDF awards – Dairy Student Award, Royal Innovation Award, Farm Health Management Awards

9.Any other tasks given by the MD
