The Job Role Details:

Depending on performance, this position offers the opportunity to become their future Garden Centre Manager. Great potential!

To be suitable for this amazing opportunity, you will be a dynamic, hardworking, and responsible person. You will join the management team at Assistant Manager level and work alongside the Director in running all aspects of the garden centre.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to - driving sales and all aspects of plant care, opening and closing the premises, all day to day running of the shop including tilling up, making sure that the shop is kept in immaculate condition, ordering / putting out deliveries and ensuring the staff are led by example.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

Exceptional customer care skills.

A well-rounded knowledge of indoor and outdoor plants and relevant horticultural qualifications, in most aspects of gardening.

A strong eye for detail.

Previous experience as a Retail Assistant Manager or equivalent.

Fantastic people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead by example.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to carry out all tasks with minimum supervision.

Enthusiasm and passion are essential.

Essential Skills:

Strong Horticultural experience.

Retail experience.
