​Office Manager – Four Ashes, Wolverhampton

As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a permanent Office Manager located at the Four Ashes site, Wolverhampton.

The Role:

The Office Manager has the responsibility for the customer relations that take place between NMR and its customers. They are responsible for managing the administrative functions involved in delivering NMR’s services to its customers, to ensure excellence in service delivery. The office manager has the accountability for line management of staff that report direct to them and for the recruitment and selection and training of new staff. They also have the responsibility for ensuring health and safety is adhered in their department and maintain budgetary responsibility for their department.

Essential Key Skills:

• To be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with customers, team members and key stakeholders within the organisation.

• Excellent organisation skills with the experience of scheduling and producing workplans.

• Excellent attention to detail and experience in maintaining systems and records.

• To be able to support employee training and development experiences.

• High level of IT literacy demonstrated through experience in operating a range of systems.

• Have a strong understanding and Health and Safety in the workplace.

• Experience of working in a customer or administrative led workplace function.

• 2 years’ management experience in an administration or customer service role.

Preferred Key Skills:

• Experience with producing, managing and responsibility for departmental budgets.

• Process driven and track record of success in process review and implementation of process improvements.

• Experience with the on-boarding, training, and motivating administrative employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• To oversee the processes involved in managing the customer relations for NMR’s processing and vet customer base.

• To effectively plan sample testing schedules to remain with capacity and utilisation limits set for the laboratory.

• To manage the administration functions involved in the delivery of services to NMR’s customers.

• To line manage staff and recruit new staff through training for their specific job role and to represent the company values to NMR Customers.

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the budget for the Office.

• Responsible for the processes involved in the production of data reports to NMR Customers.

• To generate and collate information so that administrative reporting requirements are performed to the required deadlines.

• Health and Safety performance of their department.
