Location of the Job:

Depot or hybrid based in Norfolk.

Salary & Benefits Package:

Paying a basic salary in the range or £40,000 - £43,000 per year depending on experience.

Quarterly Sales bonus.

Company car.

The Job Role Details:

We are now looking for a Technical / Machinery Sales candidate who is looking to secure a role as Service Manager. You will be heading up a team of 3 senior Technicians and also be that person to hunt the market, make new deals and organise the daily activities of the team.

As well as heading up the team of Engineers you will also be able to re-arrange the work, deal with the customers and process orders on the system.

The position offers the opportunity to work hybrid.

KPIs for this position are: Cross selling, planning, calculating the growth of the business, number of client visits of the team, cycle calls.

  • As Service Manager for the UK - you will be responsible for taking the company and its current service position to the next level.

  • This will be achieved by working closely with our existing customers and partners in the UK, Ireland and internationally to increase service engagement and performance levels.

  • At the same time, you will intensify the synergy between service, sales, and marketing, with the aim of exceeding customer service expectations, and meeting agreed service KPIs.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

  • Living locally to the depot in Norfolk.

  • Technical or sales experience.

  • Service and / or parts department experience.

  • Familiar with the agricultural or food processing machinery and equipment industry.

  • No fear to get his hands dirty when needed.

  • Preferably some experience in strategy and making plans.

  • Endless energy, enthusiasm and responsiveness, particularly in respect to service performance.

  • Strong technical background and problem-solving skills.

  • An excellent understanding the synergy required between the service and sales teams.

  • Experience with systems such as CRM, service ticketing, online parts ordering, and customer database management.

  • Excellent leadership skills, including an ability to coach your team to optimal results.
