Winery Operator & Winemaker
Location of the Job:
East Sussex.
Accommodation can be provided.
Salary & Benefits Package:
A basic salary in the range of £30,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience.

Additional Information:
The role is working 5 days a week 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
30 minutes lunch break.
Early morning and afternoon break.
About The Company:
A 35+ Vineyard Estate running to full capacity with sales mainly direct to the public through our internet social networking and vineyard shop. Specialising in making sparkling wines, still wines and fruit wines.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…
Operate two grape presses.
Record volumes of grape varieties, ownership of grapes, laboratory testing, and making the associated wines.
Operate the winery machinery, pumps and hoses for the mixing of the ingredients to start the fermentation under normal regulations.
Manage the making of sparkling wine, still wines and fruit wines as required by the management.
Filtrations, bottling, disgorging, dressing and packaging ready for sale of all products.
Keep the workplace sterile, clean, tidy and all machinery in working order.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
Experience working with sparkling wine.
Vineyard/orchard farm estate work experience.
A good attitude towards work.
Technically minded.
