UK SIRES DIRECT - Telesales Advisor required

UK Sires Direct is the recently-formed marketing arm of UK Sire Services Ltd., the South Devon-based Company founded in 2001 and the largest fully independent EU-licensed bull stud and semen store in the UK.
We are uniquely placed to offer semen from over 50 different dairy and beef breeds; these currently include many British-bred bulls and the very best imported dairy genetics supplied by Genex in the USA, Inseme in Italy, OHG from Germany, Ascol in Spain and Evolution of France. These premium suppliers give us a massive choice of the best genomic and proven sires that we feel meet the needs of British farmers. We have an ever-increasing range of dairy sires with sexed semen available, which can be combined with our unrivalled range of beef sires to make an attractive offering for many of our customers.
Our business is growing rapidly and we therefore require an enthusiastic, tenacious and adaptable telesales professional to join our team to sell this international, multi-breed portfolio of proven and genomic sires to farming businesses across Great Britain.
This is a home-based role therefore self-motivation is important. You will need to have the ability to assess and record farmers’ needs and provide them with appropriate recommendations. We will provide you with a database of existing customers and prospects, which you will have the opportunity to add to. There is no ceiling to the commission you will earn on sales.
Interest in and affinity for livestock farming is essential for this role and you’ll need to be prepared to share the ups and downs of the industry with your customers and prospects. Product knowledge is desirable, but full training will be given.
