Where you’ll work
This is a unique opportunity to join our organics recycling team. In a regional role, you will build a strong network in the local agricultural market to ensure recycling outlet targets are met in line with KPI’s and exceeding budget model. Relationships are key to this role, you will develop your own network to facilitate success in this position.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will support new and existing contracts for the Veolia Organics Recycling business unit by securing outlets for paper sludge and industrial wastes to agricultural and affiliated outlets.
As well as the sale, you will ensure the material is moved in a compliant and safe manner, within the customers time frame and troubleshooting any issues which may arise.
Customer relationships are central to success in this role and you will need to be visible and knowledgeable to provide a value added service. Additional duties will extend to the use of and compliance with VOR procedures, SUIVRA to provide audit trail for all recycling routes and sale of materials to farmers/landowners.
What you’ll need to know
● We are keen to hear from people with experience selling products or services into agricultural customers e.g. fertilizer sales, animal bedding sales, farm management or environmental science graduates
● You will ideally have an understanding of the Environmental Permitting Regs operation in England and Wales; Standard Rules permits SR2010 No 4 and 5 and exemptions
● Ideally FACTS trained or a level of understanding of agronomy
● Be computer literate, a strong organiser who can prioritise workloads and be accurate when reporting information
● Full UK Driving license
