As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Account Services Manager located at the Four Ashes Laboratory.

The Role:

The Account Services Manager will be responsible for the management of delivery of services to clients. The role will centre on ensuring effective provision of the services to existing clients and working with others in the business to promote the service to potential new clients.

They will manage the daily operational requirements associated with services and handle communications with existing and potential clients regarding the services. The role will require the maintenance of effective working relationships with the office team and various other teams across the business. The ability to use Windows OS and Microsoft Office is essential for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

-          To attend milk purchaser operational meetings

-          To update and train the office team regarding service developments and customer requirements

-          To ensure the effective delivery of the service to existing clients by ensuring all data is handled efficiently and correctly

-          To ensure client support tickets are responded to and actioned as appropriate

-          To respond promptly to customer queries and complaints

-          To create user guides and standard operating procedures

-          To produce aggregate data reports

-          To assist in the promotion of the service to potential new clients

-          To foster long-term relationships with clients and be the main point of contact for assigned customers

-          To provide input into the development of the services such that it meets current and future customer requirements

-          To submit service level status reports to upper management

-          To work the specified rota and be flexible in providing overtime cover when required.

Area Field Manager - Wiltshire

Area Field Manager - Wiltshire


As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Area Field Manager (AFM) based in Wiltshire. The AFM will be responsible for effective service delivery within the area by ensuring a motivated, well trained and supported group of self-employed individuals to provide milk recording services to NMR customers. The AFM will work with the Customer Account Manager (CAM), providing effective cooperation and co-ordination of resource between the two roles which will ensure high quality service and continued business development in the area. Team working will be fundamental for the continued success of the area. This role will be home based.


Essential Key Skills:


-          A graduate, HND or equivalent in agriculture or relevant commercial experience


-          Practical farming experience and knowledge of the dairy industry


-          Good time management and communication skills


-          Ability to work in a flexible manner, adapting to new situations


-          Self-motivated with a positive, enthusiastic attitude


-          Valid current driving license 


-          Ability to lead a team and ensure motivation and engagement


-          Ability to work effectively within a team and add value


-          Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in work produced


-          Fully PC literate


-          To be located within the area


The role responsibilities:


-          To be responsible for the delivery and quality of service provided to approximately 160 herds


-          To ensure the retention of NMR customers


-          To effectively manage the self-employed milk recorders and samplers on a day to day basis


-          To undertake recruitment and training of self-employed Individuals


-          To be responsible for data quality in the area


-          To work closely with the Customer Account Manager (CAM) to ensure high quality service and continued business development


-          To undertake the promotion of new services as they are developed in the business


-          To assist in additional projects as and when required


-          To maintain accurate and timely records on the Customer Relations System


-          To ensure that new herds are commenced in a timely manner


-          To undertake extensive driving on a daily basis

Maintenance Technician - Wolverhampton

Maintenance Technician – Four Ashes

As part of the NMR Group, we require a Full Time Maintenance Technician based within our Wolverhampton Laboratory. The Maintenance Technician will provide knowledge and skills to assist with the ongoing maintenance, calibration and servicing of instruments that are fundamental in the laboratory operations. The position is based at the Four Ashes site and the role has a working shift pattern of a seven on/seven off night shift. There is also the requirement to provide cover and attend training on the dayshift. 

Essential Key Skills:

·         Electrical engineering qualification or background is desirable.

·         To have the ability to understand, follow and convey technical instructions.

·         To have excellent accuracy and attention to detail

·         To have good analytical skills

·         To have good organisational and time management skills

·         Be good at working in a team environment

·         The ability to maintain and calibrate technical equipment

·         Computer Literate and be a competent user of Microsoft Office Products

 Key Responsibilities:

·         Ensure that the equipment is operating to maximum efficiency.

·         Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records.

·         Ensure that standard operating procedures and quality checks are followed.

·         Work with shift management to identify and prioritise equipment issues when they are identified.

·         Carry out calibrations of laboratory equipment.

·         Carry out PAT testing.

·         Carry out stock control.

·         To undertake any other tasks as reasonably requested by Management.
