Research and Development Agronomist - Yorkshire - Salary Negotiable
This role will be working for a service provider for the crop protection industry. They have an exciting opportunity for a Research and Development Agronomist.
Our client is looking to recruit an Agronomist to be based in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for research and development and providing technical support and assistance in all aspects of regulatory field studies and experiments, within defined technical and quality guidelines and operating procedures.
This exciting role will involve conducting small plot safety and crop trials to assess and record the effects of a wide range of agrochemicals and other agricultural inputs.
This company also provides many demonstration platform sites for distributors and plant breeders.
Ideally, the successful candidate should have experience in:
Crop protection – ideally coming from an arable farming background
Field trials including drilling, spraying and assessing pests and diseases
Combine harvester operation including basic maintenance
Other types of agricultural equipment – including cultivation equipment
The successful candidate will ideally will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant life science subject and hold a relevant professional qualification e.g. BASIS and have experience in conducting field trials with GEP knowledge.
Candidate's must be able and happy to work outside normal office hours according to workloads at busy times and hold a full current driving licence.

Salary to Be Negotiated depending upon experience.
