The Company:
Our client has been established for over 45 years as a producer and supplier of a large range of premium quality plants to the landscape and amenity markets. Annual production has increased to in excess of one million containers with two thousand different plant lines, based on their 53 hectare site in the heart of the Kent countryside.

The Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end to end procurement and supply chain activities to ensure value for money purchasing whilst maintaining high quality product service standards. This role will report to the head of sales.


Day to day duties will include:

  • Develop and manage the supply chain and system management processes  
  • Ensure value for money purchasing
  • Maintain the highest quality product throughout the supply chain
  • Ensure business supply chain goals are met 
  • Manage corporate requirements through regular interaction with the management team

The Candidate:

We seek applications from self-motivated, enthusiastic and methodical candidates to fulfil this customer service and financially focused role. Ideally candidates will have previous experience of supply chain management as well as working in a pressurised environment. Candidates must be highly motivated, dynamic and able to communicate effectively at all levels. Good IT skills and plant knowledge are as a distinct advantage.

Normal working hours will be 7.30-17.00 Monday to Friday (Saturday morning and additional hours may be necessary during peak times)
