You will be required to manage all aspects of the service / parts department within the regional workshop – focusing on staff, customer management and profitability.
Ensure all equipment including; service vehicles, tools and diagnostic equipment are kept in good working condition.
Complete records, reports and documents.
Ensure that the health and safety of all employees and customers are met and all regulations respected, with training organised when required to meet the regulations.
Receive from customers/sales department, repair orders and ensure that the expectations of the customer/sales department are fully met.
Liaise with the workshop foreman to discuss the workload and organise the work for that day.
Ensure good time keeping is held within the workshops.
Deliver specialist training programmes to staff and customers as required.
Review all internal job cards, ensuring that all parts are claimed and that all allowable labour hours are invoiced.
Manage and ensure that all warranty claims are submitted within the timescale, resolving any concerns to ensure that maximum cost are recovered including parts.
Assist with the organisation and attend shows and demonstrations to promote the sales of machines, service and spare parts when requested.
Attend and participate in training as required.
Up to £40,000 Salary depending on experience, plus vehicle, bonus and 8% pension.
