Technician in Land and Environment (Agriculture)

40 hours per week / 52 weeks per year 
Salary range: £15,500 - £18,500 per annum

Based at our Shuttleworth campus, the College requires a Technician in Land and Environment, to oversee all practical areas across the agriculture provision with responsibility for Health and Safety and resource management, to provide technical support in workshop, classroom and practical working areas including machinery workshops, the farm and the land based teaching areas, to set up, maintain and care for land based resources and facilities in particular those in the agriculture provision and to prepare practical learning materials and resources for use across a range of courses with a focus on agriculture and land based activity.

To be shortlisted for this vacancy you will meet the essential criteria which includes; a Level 3 qualification in specialism, GCSE Maths and English Grade A – D or equivalent, willingness to undertake additional training and knowledge of land based machinery and agriculture with land based skills.
