Rural Adviser, CLA East
The CLA is the only organisation solely dedicated to the protection of land and property rights and promoting the interests of the wider rural economy.
An exciting and varied role, the successful candidate will work closely with the existing professional team based in Newmarket, advising members on matters relating to the Basic Payment, agri-environment and rural development schemes, the farmed environment and water.
The successful candidate, educated to degree level, will demonstrate the ability to:
• Represent members’ views at stakeholder meetings
• Make a compelling case both verbally and in writing
• Research and write responses to consultations
• Work as part of a team and be self motivated
A full driving licence is essential as the position involves travel throughout the East.
