A leading Agricultural / Farming precision GPS equipment manufacturer.
You will be required to provide excellent customer support through the performance of on-site installation, remote telephone support, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of this specialist equipment and systems.
The ideal candidate will have current Engineering experience, hold a relevant Engineering degree (or similar relevant qualification) - looking for the next step up in providing technical advise and support to Farmers, who want to have a great work-life balance where early starts, late evening finishes and weekend overtime is not a requirement.
Provide customer support via field and 24/7 phone support, logging all information to the CRM Database.
Liaising with Farmers - providing technical advise and support.
Develop technical training manuals.
Ensure a safe and healthy training environment.
Problem solving, troubleshooting, reverse engineering and product failures.
Assist Technical Staff with installations.
Liaise with the Support Manager.
Deliver both internal and external training.
Attend Trade Shows - nationally and internationally.
Preform other duties, tasks and responsibilities as required.
The Suitable Candidate Will:
Have a Degree in Engineering - or equivalent qualification.
Have previous Agricultural or Farming work experience, be bought up on Farm or have a real passion for the Agricultural sector.
Provide excellent customer service.
Have excellent communication, organisation and co-ordination skills.
Be IT Literate.
Have great problem solving skills.
Happy to travel Nationally and Internationally.
Language proficiency skills in French, Spanish, Italian or German as well as English would be an advantage - but is not essential.
