National Sales Manager – Construction - Paying Up To £63K Basic + Many Other Benefits

The Company:
A leading Construction Machinery / Technology Manufacturer.

The Role:
As Sales Manager in Construction the purpose of this role is to plan and execute sales activities within the UK by meeting and exceeding company targets for sales, market share growth and profitability. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales people to achieve new business sales revenues through direct sales. 

The Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing all Construction Sales for the company.
Agree targets and sales strategies with the Managing Director and ensure individual and team targets are met and maintained
Manage the construction sales budget.
Work with the Global Construction Business Unit to agree the long-term construction sales strategy.
Build innovative and targeted plans for the Sales team to grow market share for each of their own regions.
Provide regular sales forecasts to the Management group and purchasing team.
Provide a leadership support function, supervise, coach and train employees to increase personal performance levels and maintain team values.
Maintain a safe working environment, and comply with Health and Safety regulations.

The Suitable Candidate Must Have:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager.
Experience of Salesforce CRM on order to manage and maintain sales pipelines to achieve sales targets.
Have excellent IT, Communication and Organisational Skills.
Hold a relevant qualification in Sales Management.
Have a strong knowledge of the Construction and/or Civil Engineering industry.
Able to motivate, driven and manage a sales team.
A strong Financial and Commercial acumen.
The ability to negotiate and build strong relationships.
A full UK clean driver license.

The Package:
Paying between £55,000 - £63,000 basic salary depending on skills and experience, plus car, phone, laptop, healthcare, pension and many other benefits.
