Business Development Manager – Construction - M62 Corridor - Paying up to £45K + Fantastic Yearly Bonus

The Company:
A leading Construction Machinery / Technology Manufacturer.

The Role:
Reporting directly to the Construction Sales Manager you will be response for developing and growing the company's market share by identifying new business and selling to both strategic customers such as large construction and earthworks contractors as well smaller scale construction or groundworks customers. 

The Responsibilities:
Manage the sales performance of the region.
Achieve revenue, profit and agreed KPI targets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
Maintain strong customer relations and satisfaction; proactively working to ensure customer needs are met.
Deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations at customer business location or via online remote meetings.
Develop customer proposals and negotiate terms of sale and service agreements.
Create and maintain detailed customer records on the CRM database.
Identify and target new business opportunities and prospective customers.
Attend trade shows and follow all sales leads to completion.
Represent the company at key industry events and seminars.

The Suitable Candidate Should Have:
A relevant qualification and/or a successful working experience in Construction, Civil Engineering or Land Survey.
Over 5 year's sales experience within a similar role.
A proven sales success for a Machine Control Solutions and Technical company or Heavy Equipment/Plant sales.
A sound Consultative, Collaborative and Strategic sales knowledge.
The ability to manage a sales pipeline from prospect through to a successful sales closure and ongoing account management.
The ability to work independently and set priorities.
A full UK driver's licence.

The Package:
Paying between £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary depending on skills and experience, plus Fantastic Yearly Bonus, car, phone, laptop, healthcare, pension and many other benefits.
