Machine Control Technicians x 2 – Shropshire – Field Based - Salary Between £30K - £35K basic- 12820 JP

An exciting opportunity for two Machine Controls Technicians has arisen to be based out of their Shropshire Offices, as this is a field based role you can be up to 2 hours away from the depot. You will be responsible for installing Machine Control Devices on large Construction Machinery and Vehicles including Excavators, Dozers, Cradlers, Loaders & drillers etc. Also you will calibrate and set-up all of the machine controls then test out, troubleshoot and support the operators after installation. All specific training will be provided to get you up to speed and confident within this field of expertise.
Ideally from the agricultural industry, however background is open for the right person, will look at Construction, Plant, Automotive etc. you must possess fantastic communication skills, have a great work ethic and be willing to learn and develop new skills and take on the training required to become a successful Technician in this specific field. Key skills required: Fabrication, Welding, Auto Electrical/Electrical skills, mechanical engineering background, practical thinker, willingness to learn, a flexible approach to work and great attention to detail. Industry led qualifications are desirable or time served experience. The right attitude is key to this hire.
Salary between £30K to £35K basic dependant on experience & skill set, plus quarterly and yearly bonuses. 25 days holiday + bank holidays, all training provided with a clear long term progression available with fantastic career development plans. Company van, fuel card, phone and laptop. All tools are provided for this role.
