A leading Construction Equipment / Technology Manufacturer.
You will be responsible for developing and growing this company's sales territory by identifying and selling to surveying and construction contractors.
You will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets and growing the sales territory.
You must be proficient in the understanding of surveying, ideally have a good knowledge of construction / civil-engineering equipment and have 5 years’ proven sales success.
Responsible for the sales performance of the region (South West, West Midlands and Wales)
Achieving revenue, profit and agreed KPI targets on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
Maintain excellent working relationships.
Provide accurate sales forecasts to sales / operations management.
Deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations at customer business location or via online remote meetings.
Develop customer proposals and negotiate terms of sale agreements.
Create and maintain customer records on the CRM system.
Identify and target new business opportunities and prospective customers.
Attend trade shows and follow up all sales leads.
Represent the company at key industry events and seminars.
Attend internal and external training courses.
The Suitable Candidate Will Have:
A degree or equivalent qualification / experience in Land Surveying equipment, Construction equipment or Civil Engineering equipment.
5 years of sales experience, or more.
A background or career history within Construction or Civil Engineering sector.
The ability to manage the sales pipeline from prospect through to a successful sales closure and ongoing account management.
Dedicated to customer retention and consistently improving results.
Ability to work independently and set priorities.
Basic Salary in the region of £38,000 - £45,000 depending on skills and experience + 10% Bonus or more, Company Car or Car Allowance, Laptop, Healthcare and Pension Scheme.
