The Company:


A leading agricultural machinery dealer. Supplying an extensive range of new machinery throughout Cambridgeshire, Peterborough & East Anglia and their high quality used equipment is sold across the UK and abroad.


The Role:


There are several exciting Agricultural Field Service Technician roles available for a leading agricultural machinery dealer, you will be expected to be field based and be responsible for the service and repairs of Agricultural vehicles and machinery accordingly. Although you may also be required to work in the workshop from time to time. 


Responsibilities:

  • To repair and service agricultural machinery as described above as well as any other equipment when required, such as workshop equipment, etc. 
  • Have experience of working on mechanical repairs, hydraulics and electrics. 
  • To demonstrate agricultural machinery when requested. 
  • To undertake any reasonable task as may be requested by a supervisor or senior officer of the Company. 
  • To maintain and keep in good repair at all times the van issued for the job, if applicable, and any other Company vehicle or item of plant as may be required and to report any fault found to the Service Manager as soon as is reasonably practical. 
  • To deliver and collect any items as may be deemed necessary. 
  • To undertake training required by the company. 
  • To protect the Company's good name and prevent the misuse of any of its assets. 

Customer Services:

  • To deal with all customers, internal and external fairly, and with courtesy at all times, with a view to maintaining a good relationship between the company and its customers. 
  • Deal with enquiries and queries received (written/telephone/fax/verbal/email) quickly and efficiently, providing a good service at all times. 
  • Use communication techniques to ensure good communication between both internal and external customers and suppliers, to present a good image of the Company at all times.
