Service Assistant - Midlands - Agricultural Machinery Dealership - Paying up to £23K Basic

The Company:
A leading Agricultural Machinery Dealership within the Midlands.

The Job:
You will be responsible for providing an administrative service to maximise efficiency in the department. 
You will assist the service team in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records, effectively communicate with customers and major franchises and help prepare invoicing and warranty claims.

The Duties:
Deal with customer enquiries for the department - both internally and externally.
Maintain service department records and information.
Organise training events.
Process warranty and product improvement claims.
Assist with scheduling work with Technicians.
Provide work progress information to customers and liaising with technicians.
Provide assistance to customers: face to face, by telephone and email.
Review and update warranty records / scrap out parts / deal with return warranty parts.
Oversee/assist goods / haulage paperwork.
Assist with the smooth running of demonstration and hire machines.
Assist the Service manager in promoting the business through newsletters, email, mailshots etc.
Work closely with the team of engineers and parts department.
Undertake training, both on and off site.
 
The Suitable Candidate Will:
Have strong IT skills - good with Microsoft Packages.
Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be able to work well within a busy environment.
Be well organised.
Have the ability to create, analyse and interpret reports.

Full training of dealer Management Software, manufacturers/franchise systems and telematic system will be provided.

The Package:
A competitive basic salary ranging from £20,000 - £23,000 per year, depending on experience, based on a 37.5 hour week + Laptop + Phone + Company Pension Scheme and more.
