Our On-Farm Animal Feeds Company requires a technical assistant to help provide maternity cover for our Technical Manager in our rural Dorset offices.
We are looking for a highly organised and efficient person who can multi-task and prioritise throughout the day, to provide support to and develop our On-Farm Feed service throughout Southern England operating from depots in Dorset and Kent. Our goal is to deliver high quality feeds for all livestock made fresh on the farm.
Clerical and administration support to our fleet of Mobile On-Farm Feed Mills including scheduling of daily routes
Receiving and promptly processing customer orders, following through to co-ordinating purchase orders and delivery arrangements
Assist with marketing campaigns for existing and new customers, both in the office and at shows/events
Data entry and analysis for reporting, including stock control
Quality assurance control; ensuring assurance scheme records and procedures are maintained and kept up to date
Working closely and providing support to Sales Administrator, as well as liaising with workshop mechanic, operators and other members of staff
Good IT skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence and ability to liaise with customers, suppliers and other members of staff
Agricultural background or knowledge preferred (specific animal nutrition knowledge would be helpful).
Right to work in UK and UK valid driving licence required.
Full-time or Part-time (flexibility in hours is available)
