A leading horticultural resource centre offering more than 100,000 mature plants, specimen trees, shrubs and herbaceous perennials on a 17-acre site situated in the West of England. Offering consultation, design and garden installation services.
With continued growth of the business we are looking to recruit a Facilities manager for the West of England with the candidate being based in this area. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the daily operation and planning. Ensuring best practice is followed to deliver the optimum and most efficient solution, recruit and manage your team, identify and develop potential creating a pipeline to ensure future success and support. Review and reporting of KPIs performance. Management at all levels provide management information for monthly board meetings. Hold regular meetings with external suppliers and 3rd parties. Explore opportunities to maximise efficiency and use of the warehouse management system.
The Suitable Candidate Will:
Health & Safety experience/qualifications. Previous experience of warehouse and transport operations excellent Leadership and communication skills, both written and oral. Be competent in continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen etc). Have an impressive track record of delivering change. Experience of managing MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) contracts. A strong customer focus and team commitment. Possess an adaptable and flexible attitude. High level of IT Skills (WMS, ERP and Microsoft)
