The Job: An exciting opportunity to support the sales budget of blended product formulated and dispatched from the companies blending plants

 

Job Duties

·         To generate the sales of blended products

·         To drive volume at the companies blended plants

·         Record sales activity and detail results monthly

·         Identify trends in customer behaviour and generate sales opportunities

·         Support the sales team with enquiries for blend formulations and prices

·         To work closely with the Customer Service, New Business, Production and Transport teams

·         Nutritionally improve and develop new blends

 

Key Skills, Abilities & Competencies

·         Confident on the telephone with ability to identify sales opportunities, build good relationships and network at all levels

·         Good interpersonal and communication skills, effective under pressure

·         A good understanding of dairy nutrition and an ability to formulate diets

·         Strong organisational and time management skills so that results are delivered and deadlines met

·         Enthusiastic, flexible, adaptive and resilient

·         An enthusiasm for sales

 

The Candidate

·         Previous experience of working in a sales or advise role over the phone

·         Understanding of ruminant feeding

·         Good working knowledge of Microsoft programmes including Excel and Access

·         Knowledge of CRM systems

·         Sound nutritional ability
