Description:

 

Monitoring & Control Manager c£40,000 - £60,000 basic plus bonus and car

Be a Monitoring expert with Geodetic Monitoring Industry knowledge, background in Heavy Construction/Engineering ideally & have experience working with Project Teams.

There will be an element of new business/selling involved, but selling a solution to the customer, consultancy/up selling/Technical Solutions/involved with Tendering.

The scope of this role is to generate business for the Company monitoring solutions by building and maintaining our relationships with customers and distribution partners.

A well-known and respected provider and manufacturer of highly technical hardware & software equipment to the Construction & Surveying markets.

 

The Role:

 

You will be responsible for working with project teams (in the customer base) in order to identify and suggest enhancements and improvements to monitoring solutions in order to achieve better more agile processes and procedures.

Risk Control understanding of the impact of monitoring on civil engineering projects

Responsible to develop the monitoring market in UK & Ireland

Responsible for the business targets for monitoring solutions

Work closely with marketing to identify prospects and vertical market potential

Analyse buying behaviour and Market trends in the monitoring market in order to develop accurate forecasting of current and future business

Generate sales activities, Identify potential new clients and the decision makers within those organisations

Developing product launch plans

Distribution and Channel Management:

Establishing a professional competence in the channels (direct and indirect) with latest product knowledge and sales techniques.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

 

Ability to simplify complex problems and formulate creative solutions to resolve

In depth business knowledge in the application of geodetic monitoring solutions

Ability to focus on both long-term objectives and short to medium term execution

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of management and personnel

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organisation

Willingness to travel across UK & Ireland

Experience of working in Heavy Construction/ Civil Engineering or Surveying environments

 

About you:

 

You will be a monitoring expert with at least 5 years’ experience within the geodetic monitoring industry

Proven experience in designing and delivering monitoring solutions

Possess a strong surveying background

You will have strong experience in working in a civil engineering environment

Skilled in Monitoring, Telecommunications, Power supply systems, Digital signal processing, IoT, Big Data management, Global Positioning System (GNSS) and Surveying

 

Qualification/Experience Required:

 

Bachelor’s degree in either Civil Engineering or Surveying

Fluent in English
