Job Title:                  Accreditation Manager

Responsible To:       Technical and Product Development Manager

Overall Purpose of the Job

To ensure continued accreditation to all standards agreed by the senior management team

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure continued accreditation to UFAS, FEMAS, TASCC, Sedex
  • Achieve and maintain 140001 approved status
  • Assist the Technical Manager with the Royal Warrant sustainability renewal process
  • Assist the Health & Safety Manager with the transition from 18001 to 45001
  • Investigate new opportunities to improve the sustainability credentials of raw materials and other inputs such as packaging
  • Liaise with 3rd Party Manufacturers about their sustainability and social responsibility credentials
  • Member of site H&S teams
  • Responsibility for H&S for weighbridge and site services teams
  • Continually identify areas for improvement by reviewing processes, admin etc to achieve improved efficiencies and standards

Key Skills Required


  • Line management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of risk assessment and HACCP principles
  • Internal auditing competency
  • Management systems
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
  • Competent user of Microsoft office
  • Team player
