Agricultural Banking Relationship Manager –

The Company:

Exciting new opportunities are available within a dedicated bank that offers financial services purely to the niche Agricultural industry. The team will spend all day every day working with farms and key suppliers to lend to just one specialist sector – agriculture and farming.

The Role:

The Agricultural Banking Relationship Manager is customer facing and is a critical role for our client. You will possess sound marketing and sales skills in order to build trust and confidence in selling the brand – which in turn will support the growth and success of the business.

The ideal applicants:

Must possess both Agricultural and Financial banking experience.

Provide excellent customer service when executing tasks requested by the Bank or by the farmer customer, always completed in an efficient, polite and capable manor..

Be able to build personal relationships with all customers to ensure we understand their business and meet their banking needs.

Offer competitive savings and borrowing rates

Secure online and mobile platforms that are intuitive and easy to use – allowing the farmer and distributor to self-service wherever possible.

You will already have strong communication skills, a natural sales ability, a friendly attitude and an understanding of the agricultural industry. You will build strong relationships with farmers and distributors and become a trusted point of contact.

Job purpose:

We have exciting opportunities to join our new and expanding sales team across the UK. This is a field based position and remote working and time management are paramount to this role. 

You will be speaking and working with farmers on a daily basis, growing your portfolio by identifying where our customers could use our products.

These products include term loans, revolving credit accounts, and savings accounts. 

This role will be field based and will require external distributor and farmer visits in order to support and grow your customer base.

You will also work closely with the wider sales team and credit risk managers in order to achieve success.

Previous experience in a similar sales role

Agricultural background
