Regional Sales Manager – Dairy Products – South West

Location: South West of England (this is a home-office based position)

We are looking for an ambitious candidate with a strong sales background with a real drive to succeed within the industry. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who lives in the South West of England to develop their career further into a business development role – selling well known, effective products directly to farms and maintaining relationships with our key manufacturing sites in the area.

The role involves two areas of focus: 

Sales communication with customers and prospects in the area using the telephone, video calls and emails, and on-farm sales visits where required. The successful candidate will have excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as adaptability to work with our IT and CRM systems. 

Regular communication with the contacts at our EnviroBed drying sites in Devon and Gloucestershire. This will include regular phone calls and visits to ensure everything is running well at each site, providing a link between the site and sales requirements.


Build and maintain strong relationships with farming customers and prospects, as well as our manufacturing plants. 

Utilise the CRM database to retain existing business and proactively turn new prospects into customers. 

Organised and diligent in updating and upkeeping customer records. 

Organise own time to proactively achieve the greatest number of meaningful calls with prospects/existing customers.

Communicate effectively with the head office-based team and operations.

Participate actively in sales meetings and teleconferences (often remotely).

Enhance the company’s good name with everyone.


Strong agricultural background, particularly in the dairy sector. 

Credibility with Farmers. 

Tenacious and resilient to deal with the challenges of sales. 

Excellent spoken and written communication skills.  

Strong IT and CRM skills.

UK Driving Licence.

Candidate must live in the South West of England.

The company has a wide distribution and customer base across Europe and the UK, including two self-run production facilities in Lancashire: one for the manufacture of biological silage and slurry additives and another for recycled animal bedding production.
