Round up of January 2022

Here at Agricultural and Farming Jobs we have had a very busy January! We are very excited to say that all our staff exceeded their targets for January, so a massive well done to our team on all the hard work they put in to making that happen. The team have been working towards their Q1 incentive, which is something very exciting, watch this space!

We had two new starters join us here at Agricultural and Farming Jobs at the start of January. Katrina Sneyd joined us as a Senior Recruitment Resourcer, and Angel Bains has joined us as the Marketing and Events Executive. Why don’t you take a look at our Meet the Team page and our recent blogs to learn more about our new starters? We are very happy to have them both join our team and they have settled in very well. Agricultural and Farming Jobs are excited to announce that we also have two new recruits joining us at the end of February! Keep an eye on our website to find out more about them over the next few months. It’s all go here at Agri FJ and we have a very exciting year ahead!

Our Managing Director Kate, and our Sales and Operations Manager Louise, attended the TRN Networking event in London this month which was a great way for them to develop connections and gain some further insight into how other businesses run, to help get more inspirational ideas that we could implement into our company. One of the ideas we have recently implemented that was learned about at the TRN Event is called ‘Flow Focus Time’. This is set periods in the day where we purely focus on our work and do not allow any distractions. Everyone gets in ‘flow’ mode. We implemented this idea with specific key times, and it has been working so well within our office and amongst our team. Everyone loves the focus flow time!

At the end of January, we had a great team training day which was led by our own Principal Recruitment Manager Sophie Ashmore. The team training day was a great way for all of us to get involved and brainstorm ideas such as the ones discussed at the TRN Event, which we can implement into our daily lives. Our shared aim and goal is always success and putting our clients and candidates at the forefront of everything we all do. This was a fantastic team training session.

We have an upcoming careers event with Writtle University where our Sales and Operations Manager, Louise Palmer will be participating in a Q&A session with the Year 3 Agricultural students. We are looking forward to this event, so keep an eye on our website to see the success of this too.

To round up our start to 2022, it is safe to say that January was definitely a busy month for us here at Agricultural and Farming Jobs, with many jobs being successfully filled for our clients, many candidates happily started new jobs, new job roles in for the recruitment team to work on and record advertising recruitment figures of clients utilising our busy jobs board. Busy is best and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

It is great to see and hear that so many people have had such a great start to 2022, and we look forward to seeing how busy February will be too.

We hope you have had a great start to 2022 and are excited for the months ahead.

Here’s to a fantastic 2022 for us all!
