What another fantastic rollercoaster of a year it’s been for everyone again! Anyone that works in the world of recruitment will completely understand what a rollercoaster it can be, managing the highs and lows of recruiting and the amazing feeling of success it brings too. The Agri FJ team have positively adapted so well to any challenges that we faced over the course of this year and due to a hardworking, determined, and resilient team we have had yet another fantastic year here at Agri FJ. I am so proud of my team, and we are certainly all ending 2022 on a real high with so many excited plans lined up for 2023 as a team and as a business.
To sum up our 2022, Agricultural and Farming Jobs has….
Successfully made 3 new permanent hires to strengthen our own Agri FJ team to start their journey with us in the new year of 2023. We cannot wait to welcome them onboard.
Agricultural and Farming Jobs successfully launched our new company brochure this year to showcase the professional recruitment and careers support services that we proudly offer. We have had so many lovely, positive comments and feedback on our brochure, it’s something we are very proud of and is proving to be very successful. The Recruitment team are really enjoying working with both recruitment and advertising partners as well as committed clients. As a business, we offer 9 specialist divisions of expertise to support our clients niche recruitment needs. The details of these are showcased in our new brochure.
There have been many successes within the team this year. Angel Bains who joined us at the start of the year, not only passed her probation early but she has also been promoted to our Senior Marketing and Events Executive. Helen Lockley who also joined us earlier this year has passed her probation and been promoted to Office Manager and my PA as MD. Both ladies have proven a massive asset to the team, and we love watching Helen’s dancing around the office when the team secures a new sales deal. They have both fitted perfectly into the team sharing ideal values with the existing team.
Ollie O’Driscoll our Senior Recruitment Consultant, and I have been working closely together over the course of the year to grow and strengthen the team. Ollie has worked super hard in recruiting for our team and due to his success, he has been promoted to Recruitment Team Leader and will be managing the newbies that are joining the recruitment team from January 2023. Ollie will be instrumental to supporting the growth of the business and ensuring our successful business plan over the next 3 years. We really do have a fantastic team we are all proud of to now build upon over the next few years.
Agri FJ enjoyed successfully exhibiting and networking at the Farm Business Innovation Show at the NEC this November. We also have many more events and exhibitions lined up to support over 2023.
As a company, Agri FJ now positively work much more flexibly, offering the team the option of WFH Wednesdays is proving a success and we are also trialling a ‘Fortnightly Flexi Friday’ benefit which is proving to work so well for the team and the business. This allows all the team to enjoy every other Friday off if they are on target to achieve their monthly and quarterly goals. This offers the team up to another 24 days of holiday per year and lots more recharge time of long weekends off to spend with families and loved ones. It’s definitely a fantastic benefit that we are looking forward to continue.
The team have loved the incentives that have taken place this year, during 2022, the incentives have included a VIP Day at Aintree racecourse where we were all chauffeured to the racecourse in a limousine and were wined and dined all day in a corporate hospitality restaurant overlooking the race finish line – it was a great day out! The team also enjoyed a fun, team building day out at the Birmingham Flight club. The team all showed their competitiveness playing electronic darts whilst enjoying food and drinks. We love to work hard, play hard!
We have again, broken so many ‘best records’ this year including best sales month and best sales quarter and the team are so excited to smash their individual goals and as a team again in 2023.
The team are finishing the year on an absolute high after having settled in perfectly to our new office that we moved into a year ago now! Time flies when you’re having fun! Everyone has settled in so well to our new office space and the team are enjoying our new training room and meeting room as well as a lovely large kitchen and break out area to catch up over lunch. The team now have a new fun darts board to play games at from 2023 too!
Agri FJ are finishing the working year a day earlier than expected due to the fantastic branch success and for every team member exceeding their yearly target! What a year it’s been!
We are also excited to be welcoming 3 new team members to the Dreamteam from January 2023 – watch this space as they will be announced in the new year. We cannot wait to welcome them.

For myself, it’s been a very positive, life changing year of personal growth, with becoming a first time very proud Mommy as well as becoming a Wife. This coupled with managing a business has certainly kept me on my toes from paying invoices, recruiting, managing the team to changing nappies and saying I do! I will certainly be enjoying the festive break with my amazing family.
I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
