About The Company:
A specialist dealership of new and used Agricultural and Farming Machinery.
The Job Role Details:
Reporting directly to the Agricultural Operations Director you will be responsible for leading the aftersales team and for driving profitable growth across the service, parts, and warranty operations.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives, optimising resources, ensuring exceptional customer service, and exceeding financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive Aftersales strategy aligned with key business objectives.
Meet or exceed the aftersales budgets.
Marketing of both the service and parts operation using both internal and external providers.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and key customers.
Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to optimise performance.
Team Management:
Lead and motivate a team of Aftersales staff (directly or through department managers), including technicians, parts personnel, and warranty specialists.
Grow a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews following company policies and where required ensure development training is given.
Operational:
Oversee the service department, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality repairs, and timely customer service in all depots working with Group Service Manager.
Manage the parts department in collaboration with the Group Parts Manager, optimising inventory levels, maximising sales, and controlling costs.
Administer the warranty program in conjunction with the Group Service Manager, maximising claim values while adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure all H&S policies and guidelines are followed within the aftersales business, this will involve working closely with the H&S manager to complete audits and ensure compliance.
Performance Measurement & Improvement:
Continue to measure and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track Aftersales progress and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct regular budget reviews with Finance and Operations Directors to ensure efficient resource utilisation.
Analyse data and trends, proposing and implementing initiatives to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of Aftersales.

Desired Qualifications:
Degree in Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
