Location of the Job: Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

£32,000 - £34,500 basic salary depending on experience.

About The Company:
A specialist supplier of livestock farm animal feed for beef, sheep, dairy, pig and poultry farm animals.
The Job Role Details:
We are now recruiting for a Commercial Customer Services Assistant / Agricultural Feed Commodities Trader to be based in the office, working within the commercial department dealing with agricultural feed commodities and involved in all aspects of day-to-day trading customer interaction.
Help to achieve the sales targets set as part of the overall trading team.
Build relationships with customers and provide high levels of service.
Deal with the daily enquiries and pricing for the commercial desk.
Maintain customer and prospect lists in line with the overall trading plan.
Sales and corresponding purchase order management.
Assist, as necessary, with transport/stock management and order fulfilment.
Relay market advice to customers on changes.
Have excellent customer focus.
Support sustainable business growth in line with the company strategy by: Focussing on the customer needs and helping customers to grow and achieve their business objectives.
Determine and apply the nature and content of communication required both internally and externally to ensure effective communication.
Assist the Manager in ensuring budget targets are met within area of responsibility, raising any areas out with the budget that need urgent action or spend.
Support the concept of continuous improvement within the business.
Collaborate effectively across sites and functions where required to do so.
Recommend improvements or initiative to reduce unnecessary complexity within business processes and to introduce better ways of working.

Experience working in sales, telesales or a trading/trader role.
Agricultural background and knowledge.
An understanding of livestock farms / animal feeds.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome challenges.
Excellent communication skills with a positive personality.
Motivated, resilient, engaging.
Organised record keeper with good recall and active listening skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programmes.
Strong mathematical skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Good work ethic and time keeping.
