Agricultural Engineer / Fitter
Location of the Job:
Corby, Northamptonshire.
Salary and Benefits Package:
Paying £30,000 - £37,000 basic salary, per year dependent on experience with a 3- and 12-month review.

Additional information:
This is a permanent full-time position.
The company will provide comprehensive product training and on the use of all relevant equipment on site.
Working hours for this opportunity are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 4.30pm.

The Job Role Details:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Fitter or Engineer to join the PDI/Service department in Corby.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to work on new irrigation equipment, as well as working on customers sites carrying out routine maintenance as well as repairs and diagnostic work.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
Service, repair and maintain specialist Agricultural equipment - irrigation equipment.
Work as part of a small team and alone when required.
Liaise with customers both over email, over the phone and in-person.
Travel to meet with customers on site.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
An agricultural mechanical engineering background.
Able to work using your own initiative or as part of a small team.
Experience in servicing Agricultural Equipment. However, experience in the motor industry, or machine industry or, industrial industry, or plant maintenance sectors will also be considered.
Strong communication and customer skills.
A full UK driving licence.
Counterbalance fork truck licence is an advantage but not essential.
