Group Parts Manager

Location of the Job: South West - Devon / Cornwall / Dorset / Somerset.

The Company: Is a specialist provider of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment.

The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Grounds Maintenance Machinery, Ground Care Machinery, Groundcare Equipment, Horticultural Machinery, Horticultural Equipment, Turf Machinery, Turf Equipment, Tractors.

The Job Role Details: You will be responsible for running the Parts Departments for this Agricultural and Groundcare Machinery business, covering multiple sites and reporting to the Group Product Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Be responsible for leading the Parts team - coaching and development.

  • Working alongside the Procurement Team Leader.

  • Proactively develop, manage and grow the parts department.

  • Authorise customer discounts.

  • Be responsible for monthly KPI's for the parts department.

  • Achieve and exceed the parts targets monthly and annually.

  • Ensure accurate resources are available to develop the parts department.

  • Continually identify new areas of growth within the parts department.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

You will have / be:

  • Excellent experience and knowledge of agricultural and grounds maintenance equipment.

  • Great accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Familiar with Agricultural, Farming, Garden Machinery or very similar products.

  • IT literate and able to use basic systems and programmes.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Able to work extended hours and weekends throughout seasonal or busy periods.

Additional Information: This is a permanent full-time position.

Salary Package: A basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience.
