Agricultural Machinery Area Sales Representative / Agricultural Sales Person
Location of the Job: Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire & North Devon.

The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Tractors, Combines, Harvesters.
The Job Role Details:
Due to success and expansion our client is now looking for an experienced Agricultural Sales Person to sell new and used Agricultural and Turf Groundcare Machinery to new and existing farming customers within this sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
Represent the dealership in the sale of machinery to farmers within your sales area.
Execute all sales process steps to achieve high sales performance in conjunction with the sales tools available from the franchise.
Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and services.
Attend relevant sales training events.
Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used machinery.
Monitor competitor activity and products.
Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
Execute goods delivery and follow up, according to CSR.
Build strong and loyal relationships with customers in your area.
Monitor trends in customers’ business activities.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
At least 1 years’ experience in a similar Agricultural sales role.
Good knowledge of Agricultural / Groundcare / Turf machinery and equipment.
Good understanding of the farming industry.
Ability to use standard computer applications, internet functions & sales tools.
Excellent customer relationship skills.
Ability to work extended hours – as and when required.
Excellent attitude with integrity and honesty.
Additional Information: This is a permanent, full-time position.
Salary Package: A basic salary of £30,000 per year depending on experience.
Plus Benefits: 10% commission, fully expensed company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, iPad and company pension scheme.
