Agricultural Machinery Field Service Technician
Location of the Job: Somerset & Dorset.

The Job Role Details:
This busy Agricultural Machinery Dealership is now keen to secure an Agricultural Service Technician to perform diagnostics, service repairs & maintenance work on customer & dealer-owned Agricultural & Farming machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
Perform diagnostics & repairs on Agricultural & Turf equipment.
Complete all reports & administration required – such as: job cards, DTAC case, time sheets, etc.
Maintain a clean work station.
Assist with overall workshop organisation & correct use of tools & vehicles.
Follow all safety rules & regulations in performing work assignments.
Participate in Service Training Certification programs required for the development of skills & knowledge.
Perform diagnostics & repairs in the field when required.
Perform pre-delivery set up on new or used equipment.
Support Service Specialists when required.
Mentor apprentices.
Operate vehicles & equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
Work in a team environment.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
At least 1 years' experience performing service repairs on Agricultural, Farming, Turf or Groundcare machinery & equipment.
Able to perform repairs & required maintenance using special tools & equipment following approved technical procedures.
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems to effect the repair of agricultural equipment.
Able to use standard computer applications, internet functions & franchise software packages.
Good customer relationship skills.
Minimum LTA certification level or similar / equivalent qualification.
Fork lift & vehicle driving license is preferred.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent, full-time position.
You should be happy to work extended hours & weekends when required, through busy periods.
39 hour basic working week, 42 hours guaranteed.
Salary Package: Paying up to £15 per hour depending on experience.
