Agricultural Marketing Manager – Midlands

Location of the Job: West Midlands and East Midlands – Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and surrounding areas.

The Company: Our client is a leading Agricultural Equipment supplier - providing farmers throughout the UK.

The Job Role details: Due to success and expansion, my client is now recruiting for a Marketing Manager to head up the global marketing duties for this specialist agricultural business.

Key Responsibilities:
You will;

  • Create, plan, and execute a creative marketing strategy.

  • Increase company brand awareness and recognition.

  • Design and create a wide range of different marketing materials both in digital and print format.

  • Create content and product marketing materials specific to the agricultural and poultry industries.

  • Focus on the quality and ensure consistency over the quality of copy, imagery, and all content.

  • Attend trade-shows, events and exhibitions.

  • Take ownership of the digital marketing activity across all channels.

  • Take lead on the creation of social media campaigns.

  • Monitor Social Media accounts - including responding to comments and queries.

  • Build and manage relationships with customers.

  • Run effective email campaigns.

  • Manage the content of the company website.

  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have / be;

  • Proven Marketing experience in a similar role.

  • Agricultural industry knowledge.

  • Great analytical skills.

  • Strong market research and market intelligence.

  • Strong IT, communication and customer service skills.

  • A marketing degree / qualification - or equivalent.

  • A confident, goal-oriented and driven person.

  • Living within 45 minutes of the office.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.

  • The role will be part home-based and part office-based.

  • Some travel will be required.

  • Some French / Spanish language speaking skills is desirable but not required.

Salary package:

Paying a basic salary up to £30,000 per year, depending on experience.
