Agricultural Parts Advisor

Location of the Job: West Midlands, Shropshire, Powys, Wrexham, Stafford and towns near to these.

The Company: Is a very busy Agricultural Machinery dealership, who prides themselves on their service and after sales support.

The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Machinery Dealership, Machinery business.

The Job Role Details:

Working in this busy Agricultural Machinery dealership, a Parts Advisor is now required to help with the smooth running of the parts department.

Key Responsibilities:
You will:

  • Routine ordering of stock parts from various suppliers.

  • Booking out parts to customer accounts and jobs.

  • Work alongside the Engineers and sales staff to offer support on locating and supplying parts.

  • Use manufacturers systems to identify parts as and when requested.

  • Communicate with customers to achieve the customer's needs.

  • Maintain customer base.

  • General housekeeping – ensure that the work environment is kept clean, parts are put back in the correct areas and the shop is kept clean and tidy.

  • Work alongside engineers and members of staff with a positive attitude.

  • Attend training provided by AGCO, Horsch and other manufacturers, to enhance your knowledge.

  • Provide parts offer information to the marketing team.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:

  • Experience working within an agricultural parts or agricultural stores role.

  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and want to complete your work to the highest standards.

  • Driven and show determination, work tidy and perform well.

  • IT literate in order to confidentially produce reports on a weekly / monthly basis.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.

  • Basic working week is: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.

  • 1 hour lunch break.

  • On-rota Saturday work.

  • Training will be provided within the full range of franchises.

  • Training will be provided on the company's IT systems.

Salary Package: A basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per year depending on experience.
