Location of the Job: Norfolk / Suffolk.
The Company: Our client is a leading Agricultural & Groundcare Machinery Dealership – supplying farmers and agricultural businesses with Tractors, Combines, Harvesters, Balers, Precision and Drilling equipment, Root Crop Machinery and more.

The Job Role details:
Due to the ongoing success of this busy Agricultural Machinery Dealership – they are now looking for an Agricultural Parts Sales Technician to join their busy workshop in East Anglia.
You will be responsible for providing a parts service to retail, account and internal customers.
Be reporting directly to the Parts Manager.
Sell Agricultural and Farm Machinery parts to retail and account customers.
Raise and chase parts orders and invoices.
Provide an over-the-counter service for the workshop and maintain relationships.
Be responsible for the cleanliness of the stores.
Build and maintain customer relationships - ensuring all customers are kept updated and informed of order status, promotions and other information.
Maintain stock levels and replenishment within the showroom and stores.
Unload and put away deliveries - including receiving in, checking, recording and stocking up goods.
Conduct stock checks and audits.
Up-sell and promote special offers and promotions.
Deliver parts and visit customer off site.
Sell and install Horticultural equipment (including Ride on Mowers).
Adhere to all company H&S and GDPR policies.
Use the parts database and IBCOS system.
Work well within a close team.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have;
Strong technical Agricultural Parts knowledge.
Experience working in a similar role.
A good understanding of the Agricultural industry.
Strong IT skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
This is a permanent full time position, 39 hour basic working week, Monday to Friday.
Overtime through busy seasonal periods will be required.
A basic hourly pay rate of circa £10.50 per hour or above – depending on experience.
Overtime is paid at time and half after 39 hours.
Alternate Saturday's on-call rota – potential to earn an on call rate on top.
Commission on sales of garden machinery.
Plus there are various other bonus schemes in place.
Mobile phone when on call.
IT based applications.
