Agricultural Service Engineer
Location of the Job: Norfolk & Suffolk.
The Company: Our client is a leading Agricultural & Farm Machinery manufacturer and supplier.
The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Heavy Machinery.
The Job Role details: You will be responsible for travelling across East Anglia, the UK (and occasionally overseas) to diagnose, service, repair and overhaul a range of machinery and equipment mainly for the Agricultural, Farming & Recycling industries.
Key Responsibilities:
You will;
Perform diagnosis and repairs on a range of Agricultural and Farm Machinery (harvesters & planters).
Set up new machinery in the field with customers / farmers.
Assist with demonstrations to potential customers.
Perform electrical fault finding.
Perform overhauls / servicing in and out of the workshop.
Participate in International dealer training as required to keep up to date with the latest technologies.
Provide advice to customers in relation to operation, best practices for use / maintenance etc.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have / be;
Agricultural experience - working on the service, repairs and maintenance of Agricultural and Farm Machinery.
Experience in a similar role.
Electrical / hydraulic biased.
A great team worker.
Good time management skills.
Driving license essential.
Additional Information:
Reporting to: the Managing Director.
Normal Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM & 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM on Friday's.
Overtime: will be required during busy / seasonal periods.
Salary Package:
Basic hourly pay rate: between: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience.
Plus Benefits:
Overtime: is paid at time and a half after 39 hours, first 4 hours on Saturday at time and half, then double time for remainder of Saturday and all day Sunday.
Enhancements for being on call.
Discretionary annual bonus.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing on a time served basis.
Fully equipped service vehicle.
