Location of the Job: Yorkshire.

The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Tractors, Combines, Balers, Telescopic Handlers, Sprayers, Cultivation Equipment, Spreaders, HGVs, Drills.

The Job Role Details:
Due to business success & ongoing growth, our client is now looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the Aftersales team.

If you are a dedicated, self-motivated & highly skilled Engineer with a passion for Agricultural Machinery - or if you have experience as a Service Engineer or Service Technician in another industry and you are looking for a change of direction - then we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
You will:

  • Be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of Agricultural Machinery.

  • Work on: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Tractors, Combines, Balers, Telescopic Handlers, Sprayers, Cultivation equipment, Spreaders, Drills, HGVs & more.

  • Travel to and from customer's sites, as and when required.

  • Work through mechanical processes.

  • Read & understand schematic diagrams.

  • Be able to work alone or as part of a team.

  • Work overtime through busy & seasonal periods.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:

  • Experience in a similar Service Engineer role.

  • Able to use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot machinery issues.

  • A mechanical background of any kind - full manufacturer training will be given.

  • Be within 30 minutes commute of the depot.

  • Happy to travel locally & regionally, in a field service role.

Additional Information:

This is a permanent full-time position.

  • 40 hour basic working week.

  • Overtime is paid at time and a half, after 40 hours.

Salary Package:
An hourly pay rate of £12.00 - £14.50 per hour depending on experience.
