The Job Role Details:

We are excited to be recruiting for a new Agricultural Service Engineer / Technician to join the growing team at this premium Agricultural Machinery dealership in the South West.

Key Responsibilities:
You will:

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of agricultural & farming machinery, both at the depot and in the field.

  • Carry out pre-delivery set up and inspection of machinery (PDI).

  • Complete required reporting and administration tasks.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Mentor apprentices.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:

  • Over 1 year's experience in diagnostics and repairs of agricultural/construction/plant/forestry/HGV machinery.

  • Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

  • Good technological skills.

  • Able to operate various vehicles and equipment.

  • Able to develop strong customer relationships / customer care skills.

  • Have a full driving licence in order to travel to meet with customers on site.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent full-time role.

  • Working 39 hours per week - Monday through to Friday.

  • Overtime will be required during busy / seasonal / harvest periods.

Salary Package: Paying between £11 - £16 per hour depending on experience.

Plus Benefits: Overtime rate paid at time and a half, fully expensed company van and tools, call outs / on call paid, company pension scheme and company manufacturer training.
