Agricultural Service Manager / Service Advisor / Service Leader

Location of the Job: Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

The Company: Is a leading dealership of agricultural, farming, construction and groundcare machinery.

The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Construction Machinery, Groundcare Machinery.

Could you become a new dynamic leader within this busy agricultural workshop?

We are recruiting a Service Manager / Service Advisor / Service Leader with the depth of knowledge of the agricultural industry to lead the day to day running of this growing agricultural workshop.

Reporting directly to the Group Service Manager and with the full support of the service team you will possess the "can do attitude" expected by our customers.

Focusing on satisfaction, while managing expectations and giving confidence to our customers.

You will be pivotal in strengthening the team, recruiting the best candidates possible.

You will have strong technical skills and have the ability to encourage the team to grow and increase efficiency.

You will possess sufficient IT & Time management stills to efficiently handle the administration of a busy workshop, with the support of the workshop administrator.

The successful candidate will follow a leadership training path with the potential to grow into a full Service Management role within a 2 year period.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:

  • Strong character with an outgoing nature, positive can do attitude, reliable and hardworking.

  • Strong technical knowledge on agricultural products, understanding of PLM, hands on approach.

  • Competent with IT, able to maintain and support service laptops and work with management system.

  • Good interactive team player.

  • Able to support Agricultural Engineers on the ground.

  • Strong communicator internal and external.

  • Able to bring on less experienced members of the team or good engineers that have limited agricultural equipment experience.

  • Enjoy talking to farming customers, happy to go out to farm to re-capture customers.

  • Able to drive routine work - LOLER testing, routine servicing, winter servicing.

  • Able to use your knowledge of customers to develop the customer base.

  • Focus on the delivery service support to customer base.

Additional Information: This is a permanent full-time position.

Salary Package: Paying a basic salary of £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
