​Animal Feed Sales Representative

Location of the Job: Worcestershire and surrounding areas.

The Company: Our client is a leading Animal Feed and Nutrition supplier.

The Industry: Animal Feed, Animal Nutrition, Animal Heath and Animal Products.

The Job Role details:

An Animal Feed Sales Specialist is now required to develop new and existing business within the Worcestershire area.

This is a field-based position and you will be responsible for selling Animal Feed and Animal Nutrition products directly to farmers.

Key Responsibilities:

You will;

  • Work alongside the Animal Feed Sales team to develop new and existing business within the sales territory.

  • Develop effective working relationships.

  • Meet with customers.

  • Have and develop a good understanding of Animal Feed and Nutrition, especially Ruminant.

  • Travel within your sales territory.

  • Be driven, tenacious and ambitious.

  • Be self-motivated.

  • Be able to work using your own initiative and within a team.

  • Be organised and have a can-do attitude.

  • Prioritise and organise work in order to meet deadlines.

  • Pay excellent attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Maintain product information on the company's website and social media.

Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:

You will have;

  • Animal Feed and Nutrition knowledge and experience – ideally Ruminant.

  • Farm work experience.

  • Sales/Commercial experience.

  • A background working with; sheep and / or cows ideally.

  • Must be living in Worcestershire or the surrounding area.

  • Happy to travel in a field sales role - a company car will be provided.

  • Strong IT skills and able to demonstrate a professional approach at all times.

  • Have good social media / marketing skills.

  • Able to work well under pressure, be able to adapt to situations as they occur, and be able to successful resolve issues in a timely manner.

Agricultural Graduates who have worked/lived on farm – will also be considered.

Salary Package: A basic salary ranging from £20,000 - £26,000 depending on experience. Plus Commission - OTE £35,000 +
