Arable Farm Manager
Location of the Job: South West of England, Somerset.
Salary and Benefits:
A highly competitive basic salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Company bonus scheme.
Accommodation - house. Available to move into quickly.
Additional information:
Basic working week is 45 hours, starting at 7am.
Overtime is required during busy and seasonal periods.

A diverse, family owned farm specialising in agriculture, renewable energy and warehousing.
Farming over 1,900 ha growing maize, rye, grass and cereals in the south west of England, this new role will be ideal for someone who wants to further their career and be part of a progressive team.
The Job Role Details:
Working with the existing Farm Manager and Senior Management team, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of a farming.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
Manage and co-ordinate around 10 members of farm staff.
Form and adhere to farm budgets.
Communicate with the senior management team and Landlords.
Ensure crops are grown to budget.
Ensure enough crops are grown to satisfy the AD plant's needs.
Enhance the farms environmental credentials.
Organise contractors where necessary.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

Arable farming experience.
BASIS and FACTS qualified.
Knowledge of Gate Keeper - advantage.
Excellent communication skills.
A progressive, forward-thinking outlook.
