Area Sales Manager (Farm Machinery)
Location of the Job: West Midlands – Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Northamptonshire and Staffordshire.
The Company: Our client is a highly successful & well-established Agricultural Machinery dealership that supply multiple machinery franchises.
The Industry: Farm Machinery, Agricultural Machinery, Tractors, Combines, Harvesters.
The Job Role Details:
Working for a leading Agricultural Machinery dealership, there is now an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join the highly successful team at the Midlands branch.
You will have the opportunity of promoting leading farm machinery brands within the agricultural industry, supported by a leading range of farm equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
Sell a range of agricultural and farm machinery and equipment – a variety of sizes & brands.
Sell directly to farmers and end-users.
Be based out of the Midlands branch and travel across your sales territory within the Midlands.
Drive new and existing sales forward.
Achieve and exceed all sales targets and objectives.
Build long-term working partnerships with customers in your area.
Attend exhibitions and shows to represent the company and product brands.
Continually update your knowledge of the products available.
Keep up to date with the latest industry developments and trends.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
A good understanding of farm machinery and the new technologies associated with current farming practises.
Highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and the desire to be part of a strong and successful sales team.
Have proven sales experience within the agricultural industry.
Able to develop working relationships with farmers.
Have a sound understanding of the agricultural industry.
Be within 1 hours commute of the depot.
Have a full UK driving licence.
Additional Information: This is a permanent full-time position.
Salary Package: A basic salary in the range of £30,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience.
