Area Sales Representative

The Job Role details:
Due to company success and expansion my client is now recruiting for an Area Sales specialist, to be based and living in the region of Scotland, to sell a range of turf maintenance equipment brands specifically to end user customers within the Golf Club, Sports and Amenity sectors across the Highland, Aberdeenshire, Perth & Kinross, Moray and Angus regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:
The sales of Turfcare Machinery and Equipment within your sales area.
Working within a target-based sales role, utilising both face to face and remote communication to support sales prospects and customer service.
Working with CRM systems to maintain and manage customer accounts.
Participate in full product and ongoing sales training.
Creating and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels
Developing a strong understanding of financial products relevant to the market.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have / be;
A proven track record in sales and negotiation.
Good track record in either Turfcare of capital equipment sales.
Experience in a business to business (B2B) sales role.
Excellent IT, communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge and experience of professional turf machinery or similar products, as this is a technically based role which includes hands-on demonstrations.
A ‘can do’ attitude towards work.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent full-time position.
A full UK driving licence is required - to support use of a trailer (category BE).
This is a home-based position.
Salary Package: A basic salary of £37,000 per year depending on experience.
Plus Benefits: Commission and quarterly bonus structure (performance dependent), commercial vehicle to be provided (usually Ford Ranger pick up), for business and private use, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), up to 6% pension contribution, company sick pay and GIP scheme, enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, parental leave, death in service benefit and much more.
